    Stony Lonesome Timing Tests

    It is with great pleasure I can announce that the transponder timing tests for UTVRR at Stony Lonesome worked flawlessly today.

    We had six drivers come out for testing and we tried transponders in different locations and it all worked very well. We even had some outside of the vehicle and also one located right down on the outside of the diff casing on an XP 900, that one got covered in mud and still worked flawlessly with fantastic signal strength.

    The Stony Lonesome mud big never did really rear it's ugly head and the condition were really favorable with just enough wet patches for us to test the system properly.

    Huge thanks to those that came out and lent a hand and big thanks to TAG for flying down for this important testing.

    This new system WILL be able to provide you with live timing of the race via the Stony Lonesome WIFI network.

    The racers are in hoe areal treat in 2012 at UTVRR.

    It was a muddy good time. And the timing worked better than expected IMHO. I can't put into words how excited and appreciative the staff there is we are coming to Stoney Lonesome.

    The only bad part about last season was having to wait for the timing results to be posted. Having access while we are there is going to be freaking awesome.

    Bart, bring a iPad or laptop and the people in your pits can keep up with all the racers times, positions, and laps from your pits. Now mt wife has another's excuse to not leave the camper.

    sorry im kind of out of the loop... but are yal saying the transponder will allow people in the pits connected to wifi to track you while your on the race course ? kinda like the map in the corner of the screen on a video game?!.... thats awesome!

    It's not the GPS type go transponder, but your pit crew will have access to yours and everyone's lap times and over all position. Your right, it's gonna be awesome.
