News regarding the brand new format for UTV racing will be announced shortly. SouthEastSxS.com has secured the interest of three of Georgia’s ORV parks to host races in the new league. As rule books are created and the kinks worked out in the format more and more interest is being generated from the racing community. A meeting for the officals and land owners is due to take place this month to further unsderstand the demands and
challenges for the news format. The new format will be loosely following the European Rally format, a highly successful racing format that has been used around the world for many years and is internationally recognized. While details are being finalized some key issues have been addressed for racers and promoters alike. This is a very exciting time for UTV racing as a whole and the term "Rally Raid" will become synonymous with quality UTV racing, professionally run and administered. The new championship will be called "UTV Rally Raid" and hosted as part of the "SouthEastSxS.com UTV Racing Network" it deals with the following issues.
1, The Hole Shot Lottery
2, Lack of passing opportunity
3, Engaging tracks purpose built for UTV racing
4, Damage limitation
In interviews with racers and land owners a like a great deal of interest has been shown and with SouthEastSxS.com at the helm racers and landowners alike are assured a quality series.
Keep an eye on the site for more information however we can tell you that this racing league is due to be released in time for the fall/winter season and will have various classes.
